R50 Brakes are the same 368mm setup as used on the 2008MY only cayenne Turbo... They should be the largest caliper/rotor setup you can squeeze under an 18" wheel... It was stopped by 2009, but this same caliper was again reused on the Porsche Panamera, though with a slightly larger 14.7" rotor. If you really wanted to do an R50 setup, you would need..... 1x 955-351-421-70 Left Caliper $538.50 1x 955-351-422-70 Right Caliper $538.50 2x 955-351-403-00 368mmx36mm rotors $202.22 1x 955-351-939-62 Brake Pad set $254.78 1x 955-351-959-10 Pad hardware kit $47.11 2x 955-612-365-60 Wear indicator harness $17.59 Cayenne Turbo 08 368mm rotor Porsche PNs 955-351-421-70, 955-351-422-70 (Red, Porsche 1LP Package) you might,,, and i say might also need a larger splash shield for the back of the rotor... the porsche part number is 955 351 801 51, but i don;t know for sure this would have the same mounting as the Touareg and while not a mandatory part, you might need to get the actual R50 plate for this Recently I rebuilt a set of these for use on an Audi S4 (since the B5 S4 share the same common brake mounting as a Touareg/Cayenne/Q7.. they turned out very nice... 1LP Package Originally Posted by schootsie View Post The R50 front brakes will NOT fit inside an 18" wheel. Love to know for future reference when I'll need some, thanks, John With out a whole lot of back and forth, I assure you they will fit in an 18" wheel. While this might not be all 18's, they do fit with the right wheel.... Seeing that you have an R50,,, I can PM you my list of 18" wheels I have found to clear these. Granted, These will all be performance car related since we use the calipers for SC applications, but some might come in truck bps. Really the same can be said down the entire line.... the 18Z caliper found on a Toaureg V10, Cayenne S, 02-07 Turbo, Q7, etc.. is supposed to be 18" or larger. but.... and a huge but, there are 17" wheels that will clear. 2 quick examples,,, On my B5 S4, Once and while I will run a BBS RF Design 5000 3 piece Wheel as my winter setup (I run a 18Z V10 brake setup on my Audi). This is 17" wheel and it clears the caliper with very little space to spare. The OEM Audi 17" Avus wheel will also clear the 18Z setup with a 15mm spacer... So,,, the 17",18"19" ight be a good guideline, it's def. not a hard fast rule... Those prices are the OEM Porsche MSRP prices as quoted from the online part DB.
